AI & Professional Use Disclosure

This is a plain-English explanation, not a legal document. It does not replace, and is not as complete as, the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which remain the governing documents. Where anything here and those documents appear to conflict, the Terms and Privacy Policy control.

1. What FactoryFit AI Does

FactoryFit gives your Trainer AI-assisted tools that help them build things faster — a training programme, a meal plan, a summary of your weekly check-in, a comparison of two progress photos, or a check-in message. Your Trainer starts each of these, and your Trainer decides what — if anything — you ever see.

Think of it as a fast first draft, not a finished answer. An AI model (built by our technology partner, Anthropic) reads the information your Trainer has entered about you and writes a draft based on it. It does not know anything about you beyond what has been entered into FactoryFit, and it does not talk to you directly — you never chat with the AI yourself.

2. Trainer Responsibility

Your Trainer is responsible for what you receive — not FactoryFit, and not the AI. Before a training programme reaches you, your Trainer is asked to confirm:

“I have reviewed this programme and confirm it is appropriate for this client.”

That’s a real step your Trainer has to take — not a formality that happens automatically. A meal plan works the same way: it stays a private draft until your Trainer explicitly publishes it to you. Your Trainer can edit anything the AI produces before you ever see it, and is expected to use their own professional judgment, not just pass along whatever the AI wrote.

FactoryFit doesn’t check your Trainer’s qualifications, and doesn’t review what your Trainer publishes to you. That responsibility sits with your Trainer, as described in the Terms of Service, Section 4.

3. Client-Facing Content

If you’re a Client, anything AI-assisted that reaches you — a programme, a meal plan, a shared photo comparison — is presented as your Trainer’s plan for you. FactoryFit doesn’t badge it as “AI-generated” on your side, because your Trainer has already reviewed it and is presenting it as their own coaching guidance, the same way they would if they’d typed it from scratch. If you’d like to know how a specific piece of guidance was put together, ask your Trainer directly.

4. Exercise / Fitness Limitation

Training programmes and exercise guidance from FactoryFit are for general fitness and exercise purposes only. They are not a medical diagnosis, treatment, or physical therapy plan, and they’re not designed to treat any injury or condition. Physical exercise always carries some risk of injury. If you have an injury, a medical condition, or any concern about a specific exercise, talk to your Trainer and, where appropriate, a qualified healthcare professional before continuing.

5. Nutrition Limitation

Meal plans, calorie targets, and other nutrition guidance are for general nutrition and wellness purposes only. They are not Medical Nutrition Therapy, and they’re not a substitute for advice from a registered dietitian, physician, or other licensed professional. Not every Trainer offering nutrition guidance through FactoryFit is a licensed dietitian or nutrition professional — FactoryFit doesn’t verify this, and a Trainer’s use of these tools is not itself a claim of that credential. If you have a medical condition, food allergy, or history of disordered eating, talk to a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary changes.

6. Health / Medical Limitation

Nothing produced by FactoryFit’s AI tools — a programme, a meal plan, a check-in summary, or a photo comparison — is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan, no matter how specific or confident it sounds. AI systems can also make mistakes, including about things that sound medical or health-related. Your Trainer is expected to review AI-generated content with that limitation in mind, not treat it as a clinical opinion. FactoryFit is not offered as a HIPAA-compliant healthcare service, and using FactoryFit does not create a doctor-patient or other clinical relationship with anyone.

7. Progress-Photo AI

If you’re a Client, you can upload progress photos, and those photos stay private to you and your Trainer by default. Your Trainer can ask FactoryFit’s AI to compare two of your photos and write draft notes about visible changes (things like posture or overall proportions) — but only after you’ve separately given permission for that specific use. Uploading a photo does not automatically mean it will be analyzed by AI, and your Trainer cannot grant that permission on your behalf.

If you allow AI photo analysis: your actual photos are sent to Anthropic to generate the draft. That draft stays private until your Trainer decides to share it with you, and your Trainer is expected to review it first. AI commentary on a photo is not a medical or body-composition assessment, and it can be wrong. 8. Accuracy and Limitations of AI

AI-generated drafts can be incomplete, outdated, generic, or simply wrong, especially if the information your Trainer entered was incomplete. AI does not know anything your Trainer didn’t tell it, doesn’t remember conversations you’ve had with your Trainer outside FactoryFit, and isn’t infallible just because your Trainer reviewed it — human review reduces risk, it doesn’t eliminate it. If something a Trainer shares with you seems off, unsafe, or inconsistent with what you know about your own body or health, say so — to your Trainer directly.

9. Emergencies / Urgent Medical Situations

FactoryFit is not an emergency service. Do not use FactoryFit, a message from your Trainer, or anything AI-generated as a substitute for emergency care. If you are having a medical emergency, or think you might be, call 911 (or your local emergency number) or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
